Jet Air Fans also known as impulse or induction fans – support the natural flow between the supply air and extract air zones. These fans provide motion in regions with low air speeds, thus guaranteeing the daily ventilation requirement for all areas. Jet fans have a high velocity jet of compressed air ejected from the trailing edge of the blade. This results in the forward rotation of the fan wheel just like a jet plane is pushed forward by the high-velocity jet ejected from the rear of the jet engine. Jet fans are installed in tunnels/or underground car parks and specifically designed and certified for fire smoke and hot gases extraction in case of fire.
